The headset is necessary to respect the silence of the sacred place.
The devices are mandatory for groups of more than 10 people.

How to visit the Basilica
FOOD – DRINKS
The introduction of alcoholic and super-alcoholic beverages is prohibited inside the Basilica. They must be left, compulsorily, to a custodian and collected on the same day.
CUSTODY WORKS AND ENVIRONMENTS
It is absolutely forbidden to touch the works of art. Works and rooms of the Basilica of San Paolo fuori le Mura are protected by an internal television system and electronic alarm equipment.
MICROPHONES
The use of amplified microphones is prohibited.
CLOTHING REQUIRED
Access to the Basilica, the Cloister, the Art Gallery and all areas annexed to the Basilica itself will be allowed only to decorously dressed people.
PHOTOS
Exhibits and environments can be photographed, for amateur purposes, with hand-held cameras.
MOBILE PHONES
The use of mobile phones is allowed, with the recommendation not to make them ring during the celebration of liturgical functions and to respect, therefore, the recollection of those who participate. Any abuse will be reported to the custodians who will stop the disturbance.
